Senior Project Controls Manager - Aviation Construction

Job Summary
Manage and implement project controls processes, including cost/change control, delay analysis, and earned value reporting. Track change orders with the Project Manager, process invoice/payment applications, and update owner cost tracking software. Produce weekly progress reports for the General Contractor and monthly reports for management while reconciling GC actual costs with GMP and Schedule of Values. Coordinate supplier delivery plans, contract execution, and PO closure, and maintain cost benchmarking databases. Lead change control and cost meetings, attend risk meetings, and ensure QA/QC compliance. Initiate close-out processes two to three months prior to completion by collecting warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals. This role supports large aviation construction projects and programs. Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in construction management or cost engineering, with expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced spreadsheet skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction
- Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations
- Skilled in the use of industry accepted applications for cost, planning, and progress measurement
- Demonstrates a high level of self-organization, coordination, and planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Expertise using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication skills
