Senior Project Architect | Public & Corporate

Job Summary
Develop a thorough understanding of project design philosophy, providing major input into design and building performance strategies while conveying these to team members. Lead detailed development of construction documents, specifications, and drawings across schematic, design development, and construction phases, ensuring accurate coordination and compliance with project scope, schedule, and design intent. Provide technical design input, quality control, and oversight for emerging professionals, actively collaborating with consultants to integrate deliverables and execute agency review analyses for accessibility, zoning, and life-safety. Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases, participating in presentations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 10+ years of professional experience with small-to-large scale project types, including Workplace/Commercial Interiors, Interior Architecture, Core and Shell projects, Adaptive Reuse (multiple program types), Hospitality, and Building Repositioning
- Architecture license in California
- Current knowledge and use of California Building Codes
- Experience working with local Building & Safety offices (City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, and other regional municipalities)
- Experience securing entitlements with the municipalities noted above and/or providing architectural support to land use consultants
- Experience with private clients/developers and public sector/municipality clients
- Proficiency in Revit
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other graphic tools
- Experience with Bluebeam Studio
- LEED accreditation
