Job Summary
The Senior Project Architect will lead teams through all phases of architectural development, ensuring quality and compliance with codes. Responsibilities include directing construction documentation production, overseeing agency reviews, and coordinating with contractors. The role also requires mentoring junior designers, supporting business development, and strengthening client relationships. A minimum of 15-20 years of architectural experience and a valid architecture license are required, along with strong skills in Revit and sustainable design practices. ILFI certification and additional sustainability credentials are necessary within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- 15-20+ years of professional architectural experience with a proven portfolio of completed projects
- Architecture license required
- ILFI certification required within 6 months of hire
- Additional sustainability credentials (LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, CPHC/PHI, etc.) required within a year
Desired Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Revit, BIM workflows, and sustainable design best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (or Affinity tools)
- Passion for regenerative, deep green design and commitment to the firm’s sustainability mission
