Job Summary
Prepare working drawings, coordinate activities with mechanical, electrical, interior departments, and outsource consultants, and support BIM management across the studio. Lead project design in client meetings, coordinate with local AHJs, and assist in preparing specifications and contract change orders. Verify field information through necessary trips and function as a detailer to ensure projects complete on schedule and within budget. Assist the Design Studio Head in mentoring junior staff while supporting the Director of Production on multiple simultaneous projects. Requires an architectural license and 10 years of commercial architecture experience.
Required Qualifications
- Well versed knowledge of building codes and accessibility codes
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience with multi-story buildings
- Proficiency in Procore
- Architectural License required
- 10 years of professional experience in commercial architecture required
- Travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- NCARB certification preferred
- Multiple State Architectural Licenses preferred
- Proficiency in Speclink preferred
- LEED AP credential preferred
- LEED AP credential preferred
