Job Summary
Develop a design and building performance strategy, providing technical design input and leading detailed development of construction documents across all project phases. Coordinate work with consultants and contractors to ensure deliverables support design concepts, while advancing schematic, design development, and construction drawings in compliance with scope and schedule. Review shop drawings and material samples for conformance, execute agency review analysis for accessibility and life-safety, and manage construction administration duties including RFIs and change orders. Maintain contact with clients and present to owners as required. Requires an architectural license and 12+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Architectural license required
- 12+ years of professional experience on small-to-large scale project types
- Strong graphic skills essential
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly with team members and clients
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and be responsible for project delivery which may be multiple, large, or complex in scope
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
