Job Summary
Senior Project Accountant responsible for overseeing subcontract processing, lien waivers, and monthly project invoices for Walsh’s building division. Requires strong knowledge of cost reporting, P&L processes, and owner billing; manages accounting operations for mega-projects or multiple large projects. Works with project staff, Accounting Manager, and Controller to ensure accurate accruals, timely payments to subs, and proper reporting. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field and a minimum of five years of construction accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field
- Minimum 5 years-experience in construction accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of cost reports and P&L processes
- Ability to manage owner billing and cash flow reporting
- Experience with subcontract processing and lien waivers
