Job Summary
Maintain accounting records for development, construction, resort, and retail operations while tracking project costs, reconciling expenditures to budgets, and preparing lender draw requests. Reconcile loan proceeds, monitor cash needs, and assist with capital call requests alongside monthly financial statement preparation and budget-to-actual performance tracking. Coordinate with lenders, contractors, and project teams to oversee accounts payable, support banking and treasury activities, and ensure compliance with audits and tax reporting. This role offers growth into broader financial oversight for evolving resort and hospitality businesses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with construction, development, or project accounting
- Experience administering lender draw requests and construction financing
- Experience preparing project cost reports and budget-to-actual analyses
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
