Job Summary
Senior Project Accountant responsible for accountability for accuracy and compliance with subcontracts and purchase orders; review project specifications to support schedules of values; exercise independent judgement on complex issues with risk management; oversee collection, tracking, and submission of certified payroll; lead collaboration to prepare monthly payment applications and project documentation; track, enter, and validate costs related to subcontractors and key suppliers; mentor team and communicate with project management, subcontractors, and clients. Requires deep knowledge of construction accounting practices, GAAP, and financial processes; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; minimum 10 years accounting experience; experience with Procore, certified payroll reporting, and MBE/WBE tracking; annual bonus up to 8% based on performance.
