Senior Project Accountant

Job Summary
Review owner contracts, addendums, and exhibits to ensure financial and risk compliance, then interpret requirements for project financial tracking. Maintain the Notice to Owner Log, verify invoice coding and approvals, and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll time sheet entries. Build approved sub-SOVs in Textura, manage monthly billing cycles, and monitor subcontractor releases while preparing lien and claim releases. Assist with accounts receivable collection, owner billing reconciliations, and job cost audits to support forecasting. Monitor CCIP and OCIP insurance programs and validate subcontractor compliance with the risk department. This role requires a Bachelor's in accounting and 3-5 years of project accounting experience, with full-time on-site availability in Allen, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years minimum of work experience in project accounting with a General Contractor
- Efficient and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Proficient working knowledge of cost analysis
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Must be able to take the initiative
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to think independently
- Must be willing and flexible to travel
- Must be able to work on-site at the corporate office or on-site at a project location
