Job Summary
Provide and maintain structure for Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program. Services include conducting groups, facilitating meals and meal processing documentation, and encouraging a therapeutic milieu. Assist Program Director in finding milieu coverage for groups and meals, assign MOD schedules, and ensure duties, policies, and procedures are followed. Deliver individual therapy and POD groups as needed, create relationships with other departments to improve workflows, handle phone coverage, model compliance, and maintain collaborative relations with Milieu staff. Facilitate groups with clinical skill, develop and integrate group curriculum per EDCare standards, and provide outreach to patients. Ensure timely completion of clinical paperwork, attendance records for billing, and open/close duties. Maintain confidentiality and participate in multidisciplinary rotations and staff training. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in behavioral health, Colorado licensure pursuit, CPR within 90 days, and prior experience in therapeutic milieu; strong communication skills and proficiency with scheduling/EMR systems are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in behavioral health field
- Actively pursuing Colorado licensure required
- CPR certification within the first 90 days required
- One year tenure at EDCare or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by clinical management required
- Minimum of six months experience working in therapeutic milieu preferred
- Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis preferred
- Treatment orientation that align with that of EDCare preferred
- Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred
- Must be able to effectively maneuver within an office scheduling system
- Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system
