Job Summary

Senior-level lead for quality improvement initiatives within Public Health Ontario, engaging multiple partners across jurisdictions to advance provincial quality improvement efforts. Provides expert advice on quality improvement, process optimization, and data analysis; develops tools, surveys, risk assessments, and guidelines to support provincial implementation; ensures privacy compliance under PHIPA; builds and maintains relationships with public health units, MOH, academic institutions, and other stakeholders; mentors staff and guides project teams; contract position (12 months), part-time at 18.12 hours per week, based in Toronto. Relevant knowledge of public health practice, quality improvement methodologies, data tools, and cross-agency collaboration is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in public health, quality improvement, engineering or health management
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in practical application of knowledge to quality improvement
  • Interpersonal, leadership, team building and relationship building skills; strong written and oral communication abilities
