Job Summary
Lead the execution and delivery of the Aerospace Readiness Enterprise System (ARES) Production program as the primary interface with government stakeholders. Provide overall program leadership for cost, schedule, scope, quality, and performance objectives across multiple contract periods. Facilitate Integrated Product Team meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while managing the integrated schedule, velocity, and delivery forecasts. Maintain the program risk register, escalate cross-functional risks, and coordinate government-directed User Acceptance Testing activities. Ensure all contractual deliverables are completed accurately and monitor program financial performance and compliance with federal acquisition regulations. Mentor Program Managers and promote best practices in program delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience managing large federal government programs or contracts.
- Demonstrated success managing complex programs valued at $10M or greater.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams supporting software development, IT modernization, or defense programs.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and federal program governance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing program budgets, schedules, risks, and contract performance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with DoDI 5000.87 or other DoD acquisition frameworks.
- Experience managing Agile software development programs.
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification or equivalent Agile experience.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
