Job Summary

Conduct daily interfaces with customers and engineering teams to communicate financial status, engineering progress, issues, and opportunities. Execute risk and opportunity management plans to meet program commitments while developing technology roadmaps and working closely with the customer. Lead capture activities including proposals, win strategies, cost estimating, and gates, and ensure comprehensive execution of annual and five-year business plans. Travel up to 25% based on business needs. Requires active Secret U.S. government security clearance, onsite location in El Segundo, CA, and 10+ years of program management experience.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Minimum 7 years experience (if holding an Advanced degree)
  • Program Management domain experience
  • Experience in integrated master plan and schedule (IMS)
  • Risk and Opportunity management
  • Earned Value management (EVMS)
  • Closed loop corrective actions
  • Configuration control
  • Financial reporting
  • Cost and schedule management
  • Developing financial forecasts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and program access after start
  • Travel up to 25% based on business needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Program Management Level 5 Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, and Engineering
  • Experience in applying Best Practices
  • Knowledge and experience with PM Best Practices
  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area
  • Ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems
  • Leadership skills to effectively work with cross functional teams to foster improvements in established processes across all program areas to ensure predictable, quick reaction results
  • Active Secret security clearance
