Job Summary
Drive cost and schedule efficiencies in acquisition and program management while managing cloud-based systems for cost projections and performance tracking. Apply Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps methodologies to ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policies (DoDI 5000.02 & 5000.75). Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of acquisition programs, develop documentation, and guide contract execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Collaborate with government and contractors on RFP development, review documents for accuracy, and support risk management planning. Utilize financial systems for funding management and track contractor deliverables to maintain program battle rhythm. Assist Program Managers in executing acquisition strategies and providing strategic guidance on policy interpretation and reforms.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
- 15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD
- DoD Acquisition Program Management
- Acquisition Strategy Development (ASP)
- Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) development
- Statement of Work (SOW) development
- Program planning, execution, and scheduling
- Cost, schedule, and performance management
- Milestone documentation and acquisition lifecycle support
- Source selection support
- Leadership briefings and executive-level presentations
- Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Cybersecurity, Configuration Management, and Government stakeholders)
- Critical thinking and sound decision-making
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced acquisition environment
- Relationship-building with government, military, and contractor personnel
- Confident presenter with executive briefing experience
- Adaptable and proactive problem solver
- Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-first mindset
