Job Summary
Manage complex engineering programs through their complete lifecycle, from application to final closeout, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory time limits. Lead cross-functional teams on regulatory and legislative issues while developing strategic plans to maintain operational readiness and full compliance with state and federal energy laws. Coordinate studies, schedule resources, monitor project costs, and provide technical direction to improve forecasting and meet customer expectations. Analyze data to develop reports, track department goals and SLAs, and offer witness testimony as required. Lead emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA, CT, and NH as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Business or Engineering
- Minimum of ten (10) years of directly related experience
- Knowledge of electric power system operations
- Knowledge of utility regulation
- Knowledge of applicable governmental and regulatory laws, rules and regulations
- Solid understanding of business financial principles
- Ability to provide direction to a cross-process team
- Ability to provide technical solutions on a variety of concurrent projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- Must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in Engineering preferred
