Job Summary
Senior Program Manager responsible for leading customer-project initiatives, including project leadership to deliver objectives on time and on budget, managing operational aspects of programs with customer interface, project review and assignment to technical staff, and project reporting. Manages SOW, cost proposals, and timelines; identifies project teams; oversees project execution; recognizes Alliance Partner involvement; performs monthly reporting; serves as the first line interface with customers; contributes to strategic planning; identifies new program-management opportunities; supervises team members and supports annual reviews; willingness to travel; experience with DoD and manufacturing/defense-focused processes; hybrid work arrangement in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Masters’ degree in Engineering or a Bachelors’ degree in a related field with 15 years of experience
- Experience in the manufacturing and machining industry with a proven record of increasing responsibility in technical applications and supervisory areas
- Experience successfully managing individual projects as well as a portfolio of programs comprised of multi-organizational teams is desired
- Experience with Department of Defense
- Strong leadership skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Willing to travel
- Experience developing effective manufacturing processes to support the production of defense related components, advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing is a plus
