Job Summary
Senior Professional Quality at Gainwell contributes to healthcare outcomes by establishing and maintaining project-specific QA strategies, conducting quality assessments, leading quality programs, mentoring QA personnel, and communicating findings to senior leadership. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 6+ years in quality assurance or MIS, experience with quality metrics, SEI/CMM and ISO 9000 frameworks, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in remote, Contiguous US locations. Fully remote options are available; occasional travel may be required. The position emphasizes process improvements, training, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Six or more years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or management information systems
- Experience with quality metrics, defect analysis, and software industry data collection techniques
- Experience with software development methodologies, quality frameworks (e.g., SEI/CMM, ISO 9000), and project management methodologies
- Experience with software test science, test tools, and quality assurance principles and practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects, priorities, and remote environments
- Demonstrated adaptability to change, multiple work streams, and deadline-driven delivery within budget
- Basic leadership and technical proficiency, including mentoring, presentations, and business software tools
