Senior Professional Land Surveyor

Job Summary
Manage boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, route, and construction survey projects while developing proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules. Oversee field and office staff to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables, performing QA/QC on survey data, calculations, and final outputs. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle, mentor junior staff on goal setting and training, and partner with senior leadership to support team development and practice growth. Build and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development efforts over time. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of land surveying experience
- Professional Land Surveyor (PS/PLS) license (WV or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing software (e.g., Trimble Business Center)
- Deep understanding of GPS/GNSS, control networks, and modern survey methods
- Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and client expectations
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting sectors such as real estate, energy, and public/private infrastructure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with UAV, LiDAR, or remote sensing technologies is a plus
