Job Summary
Implement a personal business development plan to expand services and revenue with new and existing clients while serving as a Client Account Manager for critical water market accounts. Lead project management and oversight of technical issues, work products, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to health, safety protocols and profitability. Recruit, manage, and mentor junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists, collaborating with experienced professionals to integrate into the firm's culture. Prepare and lead the development of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and proposals for clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties. Participate in professional societies, conferences, and meetings to increase firm visibility, and conduct fieldwork including contractor oversight and process troubleshooting. Drive vehicles to client or company project sites as needed. This role supports Geosyntec's water and wastewater engineering practices across the mining lifecycle, from exploration to closure, with opportunities in other industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental)
- Professional registration (i.e., P.E.)
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in the consulting industry
- Demonstrated experience in industrial and municipal clients with water supply, water treatment, and water re-use projects
- Demonstrated experience in mining projects
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Federal and State regulations
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients and growing a practice that sustains a group of professional junior staff
- Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
- Strong oral and technical writing skills
- Valid U.S driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
