Senior Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Job Summary
Senior Professional Engineer leading design of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for commercial/industrial projects; interfaces with clients, negotiates project scope, performs load calculations and energy simulations, and leads the design process with Existing Building and New Construction leaders to deliver turnkey, design/build solutions; develops HVAC and plumbing documents, coordinates with multiple engineering disciplines, conducts field inspections, and provides technical guidance to junior staff and Revit designers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 7+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC
- 7+ years of experience in the design and development of mechanical and plumbing system layouts and/or project management for these systems
- Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD
- Experience with Trane Trace 700 or 3D Plus load and energy modeling software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and meet challenging goals
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC and plumbing systems
- Ability to coordinate with architects and other engineers
- Experience providing input to Revit designers/drafters
