Job Summary
Develop master production schedules and purchase plans by interfacing with external customers and suppliers. Execute planning processes including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Requirements Planning, and Master Production Scheduling to align CMO material receipts and logistical processes with Trade and Physician Sample demand. Identify supply decision points, prioritize production orders, and resolve material order or scheduling issues through consistent, timely reporting. Monitor inventory levels, perform monthly raw material reconciliation, and manage item master maintenance for non and pure-buy items. Utilize key systems for inventory analysis, replenishment, and forecasting while supporting business processes through metric maintenance and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of production planning
- familiarity in MRP II processes and systems
- Microsoft Suite Products
- A working knowledge of Supply Chain Concepts to include DRP and Inventory Control
- Demonstrated customer service acumen and the ability to interface with various internal/external organizations to achieve desired customer service results
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Availability to travel 5% of the time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and maintain high ethical standards of integrity and quality
- Ability of having an innovative and dynamic approach to work
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to consistently exhibit Supernus Values in interactions with employees at all levels of the organization, vendors, customers and others
- Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification is desirable
- Production planning experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry preferred
