Job Summary
Senior Production Planner to lead planning activities for Instrument or Systems Manufacturing lines, manage order fulfillment and inventory throughout manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement across NPI/Sustaining projects. Responsible for cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to balance demand and supply, develop and maintain WI/DOP, track project scope and timelines, assess supply risks, perform capacity analyses, support ECO implementations, and ensure line uptime. Requires SAP/ERP expertise, advanced MS Office skills, strong communication, and a background in production planning and supply chain within a regulated manufacturing environment (ideally medical device/pharmaceutical). Mentors teammates and contributes to process improvements and departmental planning capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP (mandatory)
- Advanced MS Office skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, macros, data tables, charting, data sorting, formula auditing)
- Strong presentation and communication skills (formal and informal)
- Ability to respond to detailed inquiries and present to groups/senior management
- Advanced SAP/ERP experience and ability to troubleshoot IT issues with minimal assistance
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Expert knowledge of production planning and supply chain management
- Ability to work with independence and judgement; coaching/mentoring others
- Exposure to low volume/high complexity capital equipment or high volume/low complexity products
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and detail orientation
- Flexible, dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Motivated and process-improvement oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects
