Job Summary
Follow up on work assignments from the Supervisor and ensure tasks within the work cell are completed according to written Standard Operating Procedures. Assure quality standards are met by recording required data, ensuring proper labeling and staging of materials, and identifying non-conforming product for the Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Technicians. Maintain a culture of cleanliness and order in the workstation while complying with company H&S rules and compliance requirements. Stand for 8 to 12 hours daily, lift materials up to 50 lbs, and work independently or in teams in a noisy environment. Willing to work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to add and subtract fractions
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to stand 8 to 12 hrs a day
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Lifting and carrying materials (often 25–50 lbs.)
- Pushing or pulling carts, pallets, or equipment
- Near and far visual acuity for spotting defects or reading gauges
- Hearing alarms, instructions, or machinery sounds
- Peripheral vision for monitoring surroundings
- Maintaining focus in noisy or fast-paced environments
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, or chemicals, depending on the facility
- Willing to work overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred
