Senior Production Manager, Wholesale Apparel

Job Summary
Source vendors to meet ever-changing style needs and manage their capacity while negotiating pricing and scheduling with overseas offices and agents. Maintain and maximize inventory to cover customer orders, analyze production flow reports, and issue chargebacks to vendors. Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure adherence to calendars, place orders, and identify opportunities for cost savings or efficiencies in production. Participate in weekly production meetings and challenge vendors to shorten lead times. This role supports iconic brands including Kasper, Anne Klein, and Kenneth Cole.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years production experience in related field
- Knowledge of production as it pertains to time of placing orders, to time of customer delivery
- Understanding of factory manufacturing process; garment construction and machinery
- Ability to multi task
- Strong excel knowledge
- Strong prioritization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written
- Ability to communicate successfully with all departments of corporation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
