Job Summary
Senior Production Manager – Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations leads end-to-end production and configuration activities in a high-growth, technology-driven environment. Responsibilities include managing throughput, inventory accuracy, and labor efficiency; driving KPI discipline (FPY, DPU, OTIF, inventory turns), applying Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving (5-Why, Fishbone, A3, DMAIC); overseeing safety, quality, delivery, cost and people performance; coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain; developing scalable systems, standard work, and dashboards for real-time decision-making; and coaching supervisors and teams to achieve continuous improvement, compliant with Lean/QMS principles. Key activities include establishing labor standards, conducting time studies, optimizing layouts and material flow, supporting NPI manufacturability analyses, and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in manufacturing/warehouse leadership, Lean Six Sigma experience, and strong data-driven, cross-functional leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production operations
- Proven experience leading operations in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Lean Manufacturing principles experience (5S, line flow optimization, Kanban, standard work, line balancing)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred) or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Experience with KPIs, metrics, and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in time studies, cycle time analysis, and labor modeling
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data extraction/interpretation
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership and coaching of supervisors and frontline employees
- Excellent communication across levels of organization
