Job Summary
Senior Production Manager overseeing 2nd shift in Tyson Foods’ Prepared Foods division. Responsible for maintaining high production, quality, yields, and safe working conditions; ensuring production process control, accurate record-keeping, and line maintenance; leading a high-performing team through hiring, training, and retention; ensuring compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; managing shift operations, staffing, and plant-wide safety and quality initiatives; driving continuous improvement and problem solving across multiple departments while coordinating with department heads and government officials as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent
- 5+ years related experience in manufacturing
- Food manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Experience with USDA inspection and safety compliance
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
