Job Summary
Senior Production Manager/Plant Manager in the GTA responsible for driving continuous improvement of plant production and delivering value-stream results in safety, quality, customer service, costs, and associate development. Defines performance targets for the value stream, leads Lean Manufacturing initiatives aligned with the manufacturing strategic plan, fosters a high-morale environment, manages budgeting with a participative approach, ensures resource alignment, and collaborates across the organization. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the value stream team, supporting new process/product development, negotiating with suppliers, and promoting hands-on problem solving (Go to Gemba).
Required Qualifications
- A university degree or college diploma
- A certification in lean six sigma is an asset
- Experience in the building materials industry is an asset
- 3 - 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of world-class (Lean, Safety, Quality, Manufacturing)
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
