Job Summary
Senior Production Artist, Packaging translates approved designs into precise production files for packaging, ensures print-ready artwork with accurate color management and dielines, collaborates with Packaging Design, Project Management, Sourcing, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, and Brand teams, reviews proofs (press and color proofs) and coordinates with external vendors to meet project timelines, applies Pantone targets and color standards, maintains packaging guidelines and production standards, and supports cross-brand consistency and quality throughout the production lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- BA in Graphic Design or other relevant education
- 5-7 years production artist experience
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of typography, vector-based design, line art
- Understanding of raster/image-based artwork and design
- Understanding of printing techniques, packaging specifications and limitations
- Excellent technical design skills and color matching
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong collaboration and ability to handle multiple projects
- Open to feedback and iterative changes
- Experience going to press checks a plus but not required
- Multilingual is a plus
- Retail experience a plus
