Job Summary

Execute the product strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of subscription-based data offerings for Merrill's asset manager data program. Define, develop, and refine strategic initiatives while partnering with stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to drive adoption and gather feedback. Oversee the third-party vendor relationship, managing service delivery, platform enhancements, entitlement controls, and SLA performance. Develop the product roadmap, including analytics, reporting capabilities, and subscription packages, while establishing governance frameworks for data quality, access controls, and regulatory adherence. Manage the product P&L, conduct revenue forecasting, and coordinate audits to ensure operational efficiency and risk management.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, asset management, fintech, or a related industry
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business teams
  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry and wealth management business, including experience working directly with asset managers and external clients
  • Experience managing data products, analytics platforms, technology implementations, business intelligence solutions, or related strategic initiatives
  • Experience developing or managing risk, governance, supervisory, or control frameworks
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and experience with reporting, data visualization, or business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data, analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies to drive business insights, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, relationship management, and stakeholder influence skills, with a demonstrated ability to build partnerships and drive execution across internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to work onsite in accordance with the workplace excellence policy

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses
