Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Product Security Engineer responsible for automating security across CI/CD pipelines, implementing Secure-by-Design practices, and leading threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for DataRobot products. Role involves building security automation in Python, securing containerized environments, deploying and managing SAST/DAST/SCA tooling (e.g., Semgrep, Trivy, Burp Suite), conducting vulnerability and exploitability assessments, coordinating incident response, and engaging with Sales & Support to address security concerns. Requires deep knowledge of Python, Linux containers, Kubernetes familiarity, and experience with modern security tooling, as well as strong communication to balance security rigor with business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Security or Application Security
- Strong experience with Python
- Knowledge of Linux containers and security isolation
- Experience with CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience with Semgrep, Trivy, Burp Suite
- Ability to reproduce vulnerabilities in a lab
- Experience performing manual code reviews in Python, Go, Node.js
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Independence to work on complex tasks with minimal supervision
- Strategic thinking to automate secure development across SDLC
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
