Senior Product Sales Manager, Higher Education

Job Summary
Drive growth across the US Market by achieving sales targets for Research & Analytics products like Web of Science, InCites, and Pivot-RP within universities. Identify and support new business opportunities independently or with Account Managers to expand market presence and increase deal sizes. Leverage product expertise to design value-added solutions, develop robust sales pipelines, and execute strategies that maximize Clarivate's footprint. Establish strong customer relationships through proactive prospecting, deep discovery of customer workflows, and consistent commercial target achievement. Build accurate sales forecasts and reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective sales campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in research platform solutions, API's or other integration, custom data sets, reports, or a combination of these alongside consultancy services to Academic clients
- Prior selling experience
- In-depth domain knowledge of the US Academic Market
- Prior experience with academic bids and tenders
- Higher education experience
- Proven track record of business development
- Developing accounts through proactive prospecting
- Deep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needs
- Adept and cultivating strong customer relationships with senior stakeholders
- Consistent achievement of commercial targets in a complex sales environment
- Full-time position
- Primarily working core business hours in your time zone
- Flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
- Remote position
- Travel up to 50% within the United States
- High travel January – May and then again Mid-September through November
