Senior Product Safety Engineer -SDA

Lead all product safety and field return activities for the Small Appliances team; develop a new and improved database to track safety allegations; establish a field return lab; collaborate with quality and external investigators; travel domestically and internationally to labs and scenes as needed; summarize findings for R&D and ensure future designs meet safety regulations; mentor engineers; conduct annual product safety training for an international team; stay updated on safety regulation changes affecting these products; perform hands-on lab testing and root-cause analysis; maintain proactive communication with internal/external stakeholders.
