Job Summary
Lead planning and scheduling for externally procured materials and manufactured parts across multiple products; forecast and optimize inventory while meeting customer requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement in material planning and lean initiatives, train new Product Planners, and manage supplier-driven and internal demand using GAINS, MRP, and Oracle to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and minimum 5 years of planning or related experience in a manufacturing/ distribution environment.
- APICS CPIM certification required if Bachelor’s degree is not in Logistics and Supply Chain Planning field
