Job Summary
Senior Product Owner for Verisma's Care Coordination Services (CCS) backlog management and execution. Owns backlog refinement, writes clear user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborates with engineering, QA, design, and Product Management to translate strategy into sprint work, and ensures release readiness for CCS products (Forms solution, Referral Management, and other CCS programs). Leads sprint ceremonies, coordinates with UX/design, supports discovery and validation with customers, maintains product documentation (PRDs, release notes, internal training), and leverages AI tools to accelerate backlog grooming and documentation. Requires Agile/Scrum experience, healthcare IT familiarity (HIPAA, interoperability standards like FHIR/HL7), and ability to travel up to 25%. Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills; BS degree and 3-5 years in a related role preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role on a software product team
- Experience owning a product backlog in Agile/Scrum
- 2+ years experience in healthcare technology (Care Coordination, EHR/EMR, referral management, clinical workflow or related)
- Experience with backlog and project tooling (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to translate requirements into clear, testable user stories
- Travel up to 25% for customer visits and collaboration
