Job Summary
Own the strategic roadmap and backlog for the Mainframe area, translating business needs into clear requirements while balancing customer, regulatory, and operational demands. Lead prioritization decisions and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership. Manage relationships with strategic vendors and outsourced development partners, monitoring performance against delivery commitments and quality standards. Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure effective collaboration, mentoring Product Owners and delivery teams. Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders with strong problem-solving skills. Fluency in English and Swedish required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree holder with major in Technology or related disciplines
- At least 8 years of experience in technology product ownership, software development, systems analysis, or related technology disciplines
- Proven experience working with complex requirements, backlog, or product ownership
- Strong understanding of Mainframe environments
- Experience managing outsourced development teams, strategic vendors, and global delivery models
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Insightful and pragmatic, with strong problem-solving skills and comprehension of what is actually 'do-able'
- Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and bridge the communication gap between the two groups
- Structured and decisive, comfortable taking responsibility and driving issues forward
- Analytical capabilities, results oriented, with proven ability to manage workload and prioritize
- Excellent communication, project management and presentation skill
- Independent, detailed mind and a good team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Fluency in English and Swedish
Desired Qualifications
- having Cobol experience is a plus
