Job Summary

Craft the Product Vision and own elements of the Product roadmap for Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection products while ensuring compliance. Collaborate with feature teams to define user stories that meet customer needs and optimize existing capability to improve the customer journey. Support development of Lab epics and features, manage large-scale changes, and take accountability for product change governance and incident investigation. Provide product performance and benefits realisation data to drive improvements and prioritize work based on business goals. Lead line management responsibilities by mentoring others and fostering an inclusive team environment. Work full-time in a hybrid role in Edinburgh, with a salary range of £79,098 to £91,800 pa.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a Financial Services industry, preferably Life Insurance
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Protection market dynamics, technology, and customer needs
  • Experience in applying agile methodologies to optimise innovation development and delivery
  • Significant experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence
  • Experience of leading & working as part of an agile team
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver change, working with engineers, designers, and analysts
  • Able to create a product vision and define work to be done
  • Prioritising based on customer needs and business goals
  • Strong analytical abilities to assemble and interpret data related to product performance and benefits realisation
  • Experience of line managing others
  • Crafting an inclusive team environment that motivates, attracts, and retains talent
  • Through your phenomenal communications skills, you have the ability to encourage teams with energy and passion
  • Dynamic and adaptable
