Job Summary
Senior Product Owner responsible for developing software requirement specifications to enable Exostar’s Aerospace and Defense customers to collaborate with their customers and suppliers. The role covers procure-to-pay automation, order-to-cash automation, manufacturing visibility, and logistics/transportation visibility within the global A&D sectors. Duties include creating and managing user stories, prioritizing sprint and release backlogs, overseeing user acceptance testing, producing functional requirements and SRS, drafting product documentation and release notes, and translating business requirements into clear, testable specifications. Requires 7-10 years in product ownership or business analysis, 5+ years in supply chain domain, strong KPI/metrics skills, and experience with agile development, Jira, and Confluence. Preference for experience with supply chain collaboration, EDI/API integration, onboarding external trading partners, and SaaS/Cloud solutions in regulated industries. The role is located in US-based offices (Herndon, VA and Cincinnati, OH) with a hybrid remote option.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in product ownership or business analysis
- over 5 years of domain experience in Supply chain
- proven track record of managing zero-to-one initiatives
- strong KPI and metrics development
- strong analytical and communication skills
- ability to interact with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- experience with supply chain workflows (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, ASN and shipping, inventory, supplier collaboration)
- experience translating requirements into precise specifications
- experience with agile development
- experience with Jira and Confluence
