Job Summary
Senior Product Owner for the Finance & Valuation domain within a growing insurance/TPA environment. Own backlog, lead agile ceremonies, and collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Accounting, and IT to deliver finance and valuation capabilities supporting statutory/GAAP reporting, reinsurance accounting, and data extracts. Drive stakeholder alignment, ensure regulatory compliance, manage dependencies, and continuously improve delivery with a focus on data accuracy, reconciliation, and automation opportunities. Hybrid role with 3 days in-office in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Agile experience: 5+ years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
- Agile certifications: Scrum/Kanban; Product Owner certification preferred but not required
- Experience with life insurance products and regulatory landscape
- Proficiency with product management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to translate insurance concepts and regulatory requirements into actionable development tasks
