Job Summary
Align on business priorities and technical direction for vMetal, translating them into executable specs for engineering. Lead product strategy by working directly with leadership on tradeoffs for bare metal and GPU infrastructure. Validate builds personally against real hardware to catch integration issues before customer impact. Engage with platform engineers at AI Cloud operators and hyperscalers to gather intelligence and refine market positioning. Bridge engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure shipped features match go-to-market messaging. Track the bare metal and GPU ecosystem to sharpen narratives for technical buyers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management in cloud infrastructure, bare metal, or GPU/HPC platforms
- Experience shipping something other engineers depend on in production
- Understanding of bare metal provisioning, out-of-band server management (Redfish, IPMI), and PXE boot
- Comfortability holding a credible technical conversation with engineers regarding Kubernetes fundamentals, pods, controllers, CRDs, and the operator pattern
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building a Kubernetes-as-a-Service (KaaS) offering at a cloud provider, vendor, or large internal platform team
- Platform PM experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that abstract infrastructure complexity for developer teams
- Adaptability to startup pace and change
