Job Summary
Senior Product Manager, Video at Motorola Solutions. Own the VMS product within the video platform, define the vision, set outcomes, run discovery, and drive the roadmap in close partnership with engineering. Lead continuous discovery through customer interviews and field workflows; mentor junior PMs and improve discovery and execution practices. Ship end-to-end product initiatives, make smart scope trade-offs, and drive AI-native strategies to evolve video management toward intelligent security workflows. Define and own metrics to track adoption, engagement, and business impact; use data to validate hypotheses and justify new investments. Influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, Marketing) to ensure successful launches, gather feedback, and align priorities. Maintain deep market understanding, monitor competitors and industry trends, and translate insights into strategic product decisions. The role requires strong technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and trade-offs, experience with product metrics, and a track record of delivering measurable outcomes. Target base salary range: $150k-$180k, with standard Motorola benefits and an emphasis on an inclusive, people-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software
- Experience with video surveillance, video analytics, or physical security strongly preferred
- Track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Deep experience running customer discovery and translating insights into product strategy
- Strong technical fluency, with ability to engage with engineering on architecture and trade-offs
- Experience defining product metrics frameworks and using data to drive prioritization and investment decisions
- Proven ability to influence without authority across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting strategy to senior leadership
- Experience mentoring or coaching other product managers
