Job Summary
Develop and execute platform and product category strategies to drive global commercialization of trauma solutions, managing marketing functions and meeting strategic financial objectives. Lead market development programs for the Franchise business, including training, education, and promotional activities for surgeons, partners, and clinical staff. Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to drive product development, launch activities, and reimbursement strategies while managing pricing and offering initiatives. Collaborate with R&D teams to validate new product designs and execute global launches, creating executive presentations to approve franchise goals. Manage sector commercialization projects focused on growth, cost containment, and quality, and mentor Associate and Product Managers within the franchise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA); bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 7 years in product marketing experience in medical device marketing or other healthcare field
- Minimum of 4 years in development and market introduction of new products
- Must have experience of a formal product design process based on the 'stage gate' concept
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Ability to influence without authority
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in specific field, ideally within the broadly defined field (e.g. allografts; Biologics, orthopedics, sports medicine, wound/reconstructive surgery, spine or trauma environments.) within a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical related organization
- 3 years of experience managing direct reports
- 2 years of experience in International Marketing
