Job Summary
Senior Product Manager, System at Woven by Toyota. Responsibilities include defining product requirements and evaluation criteria, establishing clear priorities to guide engineering and testing efforts; analyzing competitive landscapes and strategic positioning to craft roadmaps and metrics; coordinating with engineering, validation, and release teams to resolve system bottlenecks; collaborating with technical leads and component managers for a unified approach; owning end-to-end product delivery through architectural reviews and design considerations; identifying and monitoring key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement of system quality and performance; and articulating roadmaps and priorities to internal teams and executives. Qualifications emphasize 3+ years in product management/system engineering, experience with autonomous vehicles, mass production of large-scale systems, enterprise systems and data management, strong communication and stakeholder management, data-driven metrics, and a degree in computer science or engineering. NICE TO HAVES include prior AV industry experience and experience working with internationally distributed teams.
Required Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience in product management/system engineering
- Experience working on projects related to autonomous vehicles and automobiles, involving an understanding of systems engineering and the V-process
- Experience in mass production development of large-scale systems
- Understanding of enterprise systems, workflow tools, data management, verification, and deployment systems
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration abilities, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking with the ability to define and track meaningful product metrics
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- A natural ability to influence what happens around you, with the capability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured manner
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with an ability to balance and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and demands effectively
