Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for STX systems leading cross-functional efforts from concept to market. Owns the STX roadmap and collaborates with data storage, manufacturing, and engineering teams to define requirements for AI storage use cases, AI factory needs, and silicon/platform design. Responsibilities include partnering with marketing to craft clear performance storytelling, aligning internal reporting with stakeholder needs, and driving reliability, availability, and serviceability improvements across STX systems. Preferred experience includes developing new system products for data centers, GPU-accelerated data solutions, NVIDIA network products, and AI Factory designs. The role emphasizes navigating fluid product definitions, analytical measurement of schedules and economics, and strong collaboration across internal partners and clients. The base salary ranges are location- and level-dependent, with equity and benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or another technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of total experience in technology industry with product management or engineering experience in data storage technologies, system designs, unstructured and structured data solutions
- Knowledge of accelerated compute, network and storage technologies
- Understanding of Generative AI technologies, frameworks and stacks
- Ability to define product requirements from AI storage use cases and factory requirements
- Experience developing system products and bringing them to market
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- MBA is a plus
