Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for Risk leads the strategy and optimization of risk monitoring tools for securities and derivatives, designing risk identification mechanisms and risk-mitigation capabilities (e.g., forced liquidation, order cancellation, and margin adjustments). Drives process and UX enhancements to balance robust risk controls with a seamless user experience during critical risk-handling scenarios. Leads cross-functional efforts with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver the risk product roadmap. Requires deep domain expertise in brokerage risk, credit and market risks, and strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills; bilingual Chinese-English capabilities are highly valued in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Domain expertise in risk identification and resolution within brokerage/securities
- Strong knowledge of credit and market risks
- Prior experience in brokerage risk operations or risk system architecture preferred
- Outstanding proactive communication and stakeholder management
- Track record of managing product lifecycles and delivering high-quality iterations
- Analytical problem-solving skills and ownership
- Agility and resilience in fast-paced environments
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English; strong English reading/writing; spoken English a plus
