Job Summary
Own the Risk Roadmap by driving product vision and strategy for the Risk domain, balancing system scaling with new 0-to-1 features. Write comprehensive specs, PRDs, and business statements to translate complex risk and mathematical concepts into actionable technical requirements. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure real-time systems are robust, responsive, and secure. Leverage SQL to build dashboards, monitor portfolio Greeks, and establish views for risk managers. Conceptualize and integrate new order types, asset classes, and complex OTC derivatives into the core framework. Lead 0-to-1 product development for multi-stress testing frameworks while applying TradFi principles to a 24/7 crypto environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of overall professional experience
- core product management experience in trading, crypto, tech, fintech, or financial services
- 2-5 years of direct experience in the risk space
- deep understanding of derivatives, structured products (OTC, TRS), and how portfolio managers assess risk limits and Greeks
- Strong SQL skills
- Professional or active personal trading experience in cryptocurrency or other asset classes
- Deep understanding of trading market structures
- Proven experience building institutional-grade trading tools and services
- Background in Tier 1 Investment Banks (e.g., Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan) or proprietary derivatives trading shops
- Exceptional ability to write specs, create roadmaps, and align product and engineering teams
