Job Summary
Senior Product Manager to lead the Chemical Pulping (PEC) product portfolio in China, driving rebuild/upgrade solutions, managing CAP-PDU business, and collaborating with global technology teams to enhance competitiveness and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include leading quotation and technical proposal operations and contract development, engaging with customers to understand needs and deliver value-driven solutions, driving cross-BU and BA coordination to shorten lead times and reduce costs, collaborating with global counterparts on solutions, updating IPP stored parts with logistics, providing technical support with global teams, developing rebuild and upgrade opportunities, overseeing CAP-PDU cost-reduction initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ISO14001/OHSAS18001. Travel willingness is expected, with emphasis on customer value, coordination, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, self-starter mindset, and alignment with Valmet leadership principles.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Pulp and Paper Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in chemical pulping
- Languages: Mandarin and English (fluent)
- Strong coordination and task management within a matrix organization
- Ability to coach junior employees
- Willingness to travel frequently
