Job Summary
Own Garner's payments platform strategy and roadmap, including payment systems, financial ledger, and operations tools. Serve as the internal and external owner for payment partner and vendor integrations with processing vendors, banks, and HSA providers. Drive development of APIs and integrations enabling teams to initiate, track, and reconcile money movement safely. Establish company-wide standards for compliance, financial reporting, and incident response. Partner with product, engineering, operations, legal, and finance to enable 0-to-1 payments products, such as designing financial ledgers for member balances and automating HSA deposits. Report to the VP of Product Management and work from the New York City Financial District office three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience owning a technical or platform product end-to-end
- Strong systems thinking
- Detail orientation
- Strong technical background
- Experience owning technical products APIs, integrations, and data systems
- Superb written and verbal communication
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for engineering, business, and external stakeholders
- Willingness to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building financial or other highly-regulated products
- Experience building large-scale financial systems
