Job Summary
Develop and execute long-term product strategy plans and roadmaps aligned with business growth goals, innovation roadmaps, and market trends. Lead ideation for breakthrough products and enhancements, driving new product development activities through Stage-Gate processes while ensuring profitability across assigned market segments. Partner with sales teams to provide tools, develop materials, and train on innovative spray paint products, and collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and customer insights to launch products and activate the brand. Define product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies based on direct market research and competitive analysis. Travel approximately 5% annually for customer presentations and trade shows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant Product Development or Brand experience
- consumer packaged goods experience
- Strong new product development experience
- Exhibit understanding of the product commercialization process
- Exhibit understanding of retail, independent paint/hardware, and distribution business models
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate problem solver and creative thinker
- Analytic and strategic thinking skills
- Confident public speaker with the ability to influence senior level management
- Travel is approximately 5% annually
