Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for NOA’s Customer Experience and Analytics product teams to deliver technology-powered solutions that enhance customer experiences and power the business at scale in Africa’s renewable energy trading sector. You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate closely with product designers and engineers, and apply data-informed analysis to shape products that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible. You will contribute deep knowledge of business constraints across marketing, sales, operations, portfolio management, trading, finance and legal, and you will work with engineers, designers and company leaders to translate user needs and data insights into effective product outcomes. You will operate in a cross-functional environment, drive discovery and delivery, and embrace the NOA culture of fast, purposeful execution, performance-driven collaboration, and ongoing career development within a mission-driven, decarbonised-energy context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
- Demonstrated ability to learn multiple new functional areas of business and technical domains – e.g. engineering, design, finance, sales, marketing, renewable energy, electricity wheeling, energy demand, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with, interpret, summarise and explain technical and commercial data
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
