Job Summary
Senior Global Product Manager for Molecular Instrumentation leads global strategy, lifecycle management, and commercialization for Panther Scalable Solutions and Tomcat platforms. Role requires driving cross-functional initiatives across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Service, Finance, and Commercial teams to optimize instrument platforms, define long-term product vision, develop market-driven requirements, and deliver growth through new product introductions, upgrades, and end-of-life planning. The position emphasizes translating customer and market insights into differentiated product strategies, building business cases and financial models, planning launches, pricing, and market access, and monitoring KPIs such as revenue, adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction. Strong leadership in a matrixed global organization, with experience in diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (MBA preferred) are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, life sciences, or related field; MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles within diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology
- Experience managing complex instrumentation platforms or integrated laboratory systems with global scope
- Proven track record of owning product strategy and lifecycle management, including successful product launches and commercialization
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority in a matrixed organization
- Experience developing business cases, financial models, and growth strategies
- Familiarity with molecular diagnostics, automation, and laboratory workflows strongly preferred
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
